Biomass Speakers' Bureau

The use of woody biomass for heat, energy, biofuels and biochemicals is gaining interest and implementation.  One indicator is the growing number of conferences held on the subject over the last few years. As a result NACD has developed a Woody Biomass Speakers’ Bureau.

The Speakers’ Bureau lists contact information, areas of expertise and cost. The areas of expertise include: hazardous fuels, energy, biofuels, biochemicals, economic development, business and industry, research, funding, public policy, technical aspects and any unique or specialized areas. Costs range from no cost to a fee plus expenses.

NACD encourages its members and partners to use the Speakers’ Bureau to invite qualified speakers to participate in upcoming meetings. We would appreciate feedback regarding your speaker’s impact on your audience and any comments you might have to improve our directory. We also welcome your suggestions for speakers who should be invited to sign up for the Speakers’ Bureau. Feedback and suggestions should be directed to Fred Deneke at fred-deneke@nacdnet.org.

NACD is providing this Speakers’ Bureau strictly as a service to its members and partners and assumes no responsibility for speaker’s performances or conditions. Invitations and terms of acceptance will be conducted exclusively between the conference planners and the speaker.

This list has been compiled as part of an agreement between NACD and the Forest Service and Department of Interior:
