Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative
The Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative (GLCI) was founded to provide high quality technical assistance on privately owned grazing lands on a voluntary basis and to increase the awareness of the importance of grazing land resources.

Established in 1991, GLCI is carried out through coalitions of individuals and organizations functioning at the local, state, regional and national levels.  The coalitions include livestock producer organizations, scientific and professional grazing resource organizations, conservation and environmental groups, and state and federal natural resource and agriculture agencies.

North American Association for Environmental Education
NAAEE is the professional association for environmental education. Our members promote professional excellence in non-formal organizations, K-12 classrooms, universities (both instructors and students), government agencies, and corporate settings throughout North America and in over 55 other countries. Since 1971, the Association has created opportunities for its members to improve their skills in creating and delivering programs and services that teach people how to think, not what to think.

The National Project for Excellence in Environmental Education, initiated by NAAEE in 1993, has developed a series of Guidelines that set the standards for high-quality environmental education. Each of these publications was developed by a diverse team of professionals, and each has gone through a substantive review by thousands of professionals prior to its publication.

Through the National Project for Excellence in Environmental Education, NAAEE is taking the lead in establishing guidelines for the development of balanced, scientifically accurate, and comprehensive environmental education programs. Quality environmental education programs help develop an environmentally literate citizenry that can compete in our global economy; has the skills, knowledge, and inclinations to make well-informed choices; and exercises the rights and responsibilities of members of a community.

Farm Safety 4 Just Kids
There are over two million farms in the United States with over one million youth living on these farms.  Startling facts surround the injury rates of these children and youth.

Farm Safety 4 Just Kids is a non-profit organization located in Urbandale, Iowa with a mission of promoting a safe farm environment to prevent health hazards, injuries, and fatalities to children and youth.  The organization was initiated in 1987 after the death of Keith Algren at the age of eleven when he was helping with harvest.  More than twenty years later, FS4JK provides training opportunities and educational resources for children, youth, and their families to learn ways to stay safe while on the farm.  FS4JK has 137 volunteer chapters located in the United States and Canada.
