About the Campaign

In an effort to raise funds to repair and improve the national office in Washington, D.C., NACD has launched the 509 Capitol Court Campaign.

Conservation districts came together twenty years ago to purchase their national office in Washington, D.C. Since that initial purchase, the national office is in need of renovation and improvements to better serve NACD in the twenty-first century and continue the legacy of conservation districts. We need your help!

Additional information on the 509 Capitol Court Campaign is available, including a downloadable brochure and details on specific building repairs.

How You Can Help

NACD's current efforts to raise money for the 509 Capitol Court Campaign are through the Renovation Ride. There are three ways you can help:

  1. Renovation RidePledge - Download the pledge card, print it (double-sided), fill it out and mail it with payment to NACD, Attn. 509 CCC, 509 Capitol Court, NE, Washington D.C. 20002. Checks can be made out to NACD Building Fund and write "Renovation Ride" on the memo line. All donations are tax deductable.

Be sure to specify to which team you're pledging! While the funds will go to the same cause, choosing a team will foster friendly competition between the riders. They need all the motivation they can get!

  2. Spread the word - Make sure everyone in your state or district knows about the Renovation Ride. Check out the tools listed below that will help you spread the word. If you have any additional ideas or requests, contact Brad Ross.

  3. Organize local/state/regional Renovation Rides - We are happy to support your local and state level efforts in any way possible. Contact Brad Ross to coordinate.

Go to the Renovation Ride page for details about the route, the riders and how you can get involved!
